Aya

I used to draw manga cross-over style pieces a while back, and after watching a bunch of anime lately, I decided to get back into them. I made up this character and her name is Aya.

Lulutrixabelle

Lucy Rance, or Lulutrixabelle, is one of my fave bloggers and people on You Tube. I love her style, creativity and confidence. She has a great attitude towards fashion and is so friendly and engaging with her readers. Very cool and inspiring girl!

Welcome 2013

Happy New Year!
Don't be afraid to leave whatever is dreary and holding you back behind and to walk with an open mind into 2013. Thanks to you all for including my art in your lives over the past year and I'm excited to continue to share more of it, along with all the goodness I can, in this new year.

Dance at St.Paul's School

Last month I had the amazing opportunity to visit St. Pauls's School in New Hampshire, USA. Here is a rendering I did of Jennifer Howard's Advanced Dance Class. These girls were so wonderful and welcoming. They are very graceful and talented dancers and seeing them dance by the bar as well as in the centre of the room was very inspiring.

The Periodic Table of Elements

I spent a lot of time during all of my teenage years with this table. I found several slightly different versions of the table, but went with one and made it my own. Some elements may be different here compared to a copy that you may have, but remember that this is just an artistic interpretation. Each of the different colour combos are to categorize the elements by their type (ex. transition metal, noble gas etc).

Cruella De Vil

Dodie Smith's book, 'The 101 Dalmatians,' was one of my favourite books so read in school when I was younger. Even now it is still one of my favourite books to read. Though I like the visuals of Cruella popularized by Walt Disney, I wanted to do a different take on her and just keep that villainous attitude.
